The Fres-Co Aseptic System is a trademark of Goglio aseptic packaging products. Because containers replacing chilled transport, which was the mainstream since the beginning of the 1980s, Goglio developed flexible containers that can be adapted to versatile shapes.
In a clean room (Class 100,000) in a modern manufacturing plant, containers are over-molded with a co-extruded inflation film and a laminate film with a quasi-aseptic inner surface. A spout is molded at the same time and mounted on a multi-layer aseptic bag, which is further gamma-ray-sterilized in the final process. Today, with their many years of experience, Goglio’s aseptic packaging products are available in containers with versatile types of spouts, ranging from 3-liter to 1,300-liter capacities.

- Goglio manufactures the Fres-Co Aseptic System, a complete selection of flexible packaging for the aseptic packaging of fluid and doughy foodstuffs, such as tomato (concentrated, pulp or diced), fruit juice, fruit and citrus fruit purée, milk, cream, liquid egg, mayonnaise, wine, and vegetable oil.
The Fres-Co Aseptic System films are available in two types: standard and high-barrier. The standard type further includes the clear type and the silver type for which evaporated polyester is used. The bags are produced in clear co-extruded and/or composite laminate films for use with versatile foodstuffs, including concentrated tomato products, pastes, pulps, carrot juice, fruit juice, concentrated products, and diced-tomato products. Clear and silver laminated bags provide standard barrier performance, and the gold laminated bags provide one-class higher barrier performance. All of the Fres-Co Aseptic System films are manufactured with a spout that fits the aseptic filter. For use with juice, concentrated products, pastes, and pulps, we recommend the 1-inch spout and the 2-inch or 3-inch spout for diced foodstuffs.
