Cover Tapes/Bottom Tapes for Surface-Mounting Electronic Parts
Contributing to development of surface-mounting technologies through cooperation with electronic parts manufacturers in the world
޴
The products are hot gluing tapes to seal miniature electronic parts on the paper carrier board. The integrated production system in our own facilities covers the stages from formation of the hot glue layer to production on a commercial basis to ensure stable quality and rapid response to customers. Nihon Matai’s cover tapes and bottom tapes will continue to grow together with global electronic parts manufacturers and will continue to make significant contributions to the development of surface-mounting technologies through further technological innovations.
Advantages
  • Stable hot gluing with paper carrier board can be expected.
  • By imparting antistatic performance to the cover tapes and bottom tapes, problems caused by static charges can be effectively reduced when mounting parts.
  • When a cover tape is peeled from the paper carrier board, paper fluff is minimized, and detachability is stable.
  • Cover tape: 1,000 m roll; 8000 m roll
    Bottom tape: 1,000 m roll; 12,000 m roll; 18,000 m roll; and 24,000 m roll

Cover Tapes “ECO” for Embossed Carrier
This product is a hot-gluing type of tape to seal electronic components on the emboss carrier. Employment of a special sealant ensures stable peeling characteristics. Furthermore, by providing antistatic measures on both sides of the tape, problems of adherence and the picking up of parts can be resolved.
Advantages
  • The special sealant layer ensures stable and soft peeling characteristics in particular for use with the polystyrene and polycarbonate carriers. The stable peeling strength is achieved under a variety of storage environments.
  • It is possible to reduce problems caused by static charges by providing antistatic measures on both sides of the tape.
  • The thinner tape structure offers environmentally friendly configuration.
  • Our technologies accumulated for years have enabled a bulk film roll of 4,000 m.
