Previously, we were involved in the lamination of olefin-based resins consisting mainly of LDPE. However, considering global environment issues in recent years or new functions that cannot be achieved with the olefin-based resins, we shifted operations to lamination of biodegradable or heat-resistant resins. Reduction in plastics content from that of conventional resin containers enables the use of the products as paper containers, thus contributing to the reduction in environmental burdens.

PBT Laminate
Mainstream food container products ready for use with electronic ovens include PP, and those food container products for taking out luncheons include resin containers made of PS. Nihon Matai, aiming not only to achieve performance required for food containers, but also to reduce environmental burdens, offers paper food containers that are ready for use with electronic ovens.

PLA Laminate
By laminating a resin (polylactic acid) that is manufactured from plant-derived raw material as a substitute of petroleum-based raw material, we aim to break away from dependency on petroleum and to reduce environmental burdens.
